Ignore the Post About Discrimination, Aug 15, 2009
She's just mad because here daughter didn't make the cheerleading squad, and since she is a minority she's using that for a reason rather than just realizing the fact maybe she's not as good as the other cheerleaders. So instead of taking the truth for what it was, she made a big deal out of it and sued the school.

Alpharetta High School is a great school with many opportunities for kids of all elasticities. The teaching is superb, and many kids are getting into great colleges such as last year's Class of 2009 (Harvard, MIT, Dartmouth, and Cornell among others). Athletically Alpharetta excels as well with enormous success in Swimming, Men's Lacrosse, Woman's Soccer, and Woman's Cross Country and Track. Not to mention 3 guys on the 2009-2010 football team have already committed to playing D1. Alpharetta is a great school with many different groups, where kids are bound to feel accepted somewhere. So please ignore the angry rants of mothers whose daughters didn't make the cheerleading squad and realize Alpharetta is a great school to attend.

Alpharetta High School is Great, May 05, 2009
AHS is a fantastic school for everyone. There are classes, clubs, organizations and sports that can meet the needs of every student there. I highly recommend this school. We have been very happy with it.

Discrimination at Alpharetta High School, Jul 23, 2008
Did you know that you had to have high tumbling to cheer for a football game, at least for Varsity cheerleading. It is nothing more than silent racism. What percentage of minorities do you know that will fork out ALLSTAR cheer money in order to cheer for high school. Since last year, minorities are made as alternates, or simply placed on basketball cheerleading. They are trying so hard to get recognition and trophies for the school, they neglect the students, and allow students that disobey rules and the law to cheer, all for the opportunity to perhaps make it to STATE. This year they even paid top dollar to go on a bonding trip to SANTA ROSA FLORIDA, and have a personal choreographer from Stingrays ALLSTARS to come teach them a routine for competition, even while some girls aren't even suppose to be cheerleaders, due to broken violations, but that's what Alpharetta teaches, to cheat, lie, violate rules, discriminate, and cover it up. Again the minorities that did make Varsity Football, last year where alternates, and this year as well.
There is no racial quota, which they ignore, and all for what? I hope these kids are strong enough to keep their head up, with the lessons they are learning. I hate what they are doing and are getting away with, I wish my child never went to such a racist school, but thank goodness her time there is almost up. A terrible school for minorities, they just don't get the same opportunities, academically and in sports.
