This is a terrific school with strong administrative leadership and good teachers. There are rules and an expectation that those rules will be followed, no matter who you are. The children know this and accept it. In some way, it seems to create a more relaxed environment, the children have very well defined boundaries. The emphasis is on learning both academically and socially, developing self confidence, and encouraging each child to discover his/her special talent. There is incredible support from teaching staff with extra help offered routinely. Communication with parents is strong, if, the parent is open to that communication. Teacher and administrative websites keep parents informed. Overall, this is a great place for young people and their parents. In addition to academics, there are a large number of extracurricular activities for children to join. Most children are involved in some after school activity. Just a generically GOOD school... a treasure. |
