Parent being treating unfairly, Dec 15, 2006 |
| Dr. Irvine went out of her way to tell the other staff members they cannot talk to parents about this student. She would be the only one handling calls from parent. I'm the parent--she went to the nurses office to pull his emergency card without looking into the computer for our phone or address. She told me that my son will not attend next semester even if his grades are A'S and B'S because he missed 10 days 1st period. She won't let me talk to councilor about the attendance. She told everyone at the school to refer parent to only talk to her--and she is always too busy to talk to the parent when I call!! Why would she go out of her way to treat my son and I THIS WAY. She has lied about sending letters to us I have not received one letter from this school and she is treating us unfairly WHY??? Where is the support from this school and staff. |

| This school has lots of potential, the problem, the adminstration, they don't give the teachers the freedom to teach. They brought on a new principle for the latter part of last year and all of this year, now several teachers over 15 are resigning and looking for another teaching job. Some of the new teacher (1st year) are planning on getting out of teaching all together. They can't work with a dictator such as the admin staff at Dysart school district. Is this not sad? Now they want to send her to another school, is the board walking around with blinders on? There is already a handful of teacher not comming back to that school next year, they are leaving before she gets over there. How scary is that? |
