    SULLIVAN – Current and former students and fellow teachers will miss Joe Marks, but his imprint will be long-felt in several area communities. Mr. Marks, principal at Sullivan Middle School and former football coach at Arcola High School, was killed as a result of a traffic accident Tuesday morning near his home in rural Moultrie County.

    52 year old Joe Marks was killed in a car early Tuesday morning. Marks taught at Arcola high school for more than 20 years, and was currently vice principal at Sullivan Middle School. He was actually on his way to school when his car was hit by a truck. He later died at the hospital.
