Teachers at Miller Middle School, Jul 14, 2009
The teachers at Miller Middle School vary. Some are fun and talkative, some get straight to the point, some are great teachers, and a surprising number just allow the students to learn on their own. The AP classes are expected to be cut in the near future, placing fast-learning students with those who are not their peers, making it more difficult for the teacher(s) to handle the range of students in the classroom.

Previously, before the 2009-2010 school year, Miller was separated into quarters--nine weeks for each term. Now, it will be divided into trimesters, cutting the amount of classes students can take, therefore lessening the chances of experience a student can get so he/she may decide what career to pursue. This also burdens the teachers with a task to change their lesson plans from a 9-week term to a 12-week term.

However, the teachers there are polite, and most have the talent to pick out exactly what each student needs in an amazingly short amount of time with the student(s).

"Teachers open the door. It's the student's job to walk through it." -Chinese Proverb
