GRANDVIEW -- Siblings Kelsey and A.J. Hawn have had more than their share of struggles. In 1990, their father, Washington State Patrol trooper Ray Hawn, was accidentally struck and killed by a car one night on Wine Country Road as he stopped to help a motorcyclist with engine trouble.
