    The WIAA State Track meet is leaving Edgar Brown Stadium after this weekends meet. It will set up camp at Tacoma's Mt. Tahoma High for the next two years. The move will have a huge impact on the local economy, but perhaps one day the meet will return.

    The King's West boys and girls took second place at the Sea-Tac League track and field meet Thursday at Memorial Stadium. Lakiesha Nilles broke school records in both the javelin and discus. Nilles, the defending Class 2B state champ, won the javelin at 133 feet, 2 inches.
