    By popular demand, a gift shop on the Edmonds waterfront is holding a contest to elect a cat mascot for the coming season. Cat owners have until the end of November to submit a 4-by-6-inch picture of their feline, along with the cat's resume, at Faces of the NW, 300 Admiral Way, Suite 104.
