    Two lifelong Terre Haute residents, one a career educator and the other a do-it-all employee, were given awards Thursday night at the Hospice Holiday Celebration.Dan Tanoos, Vigo County School Corp. superintendent and Vickie Balder, a recent Hospice retiree, were honored with the 18th Annual Chapman S. Root Award and first William G. Bannon Award, respectively.
