How can our children learn?, Nov 29, 2006 |
| My child came to me tonight for help with school work. As I looked through the work book I noticed that work has not been done in most of the previous pages of the book. A review page had been checked and graded but the pages that led up to this page were not checked. How can a child know if she is doing something correctly if the teacher does not show the child if the previous work was done correct? What is being done with all of the money that is given to the schools for books? Well, if the books are not being used correctly or some of the students do not have books, the money is being wasted. I can not fault my children for not getting work done if my child is not being taught out of her book. I do not understand why most of this book is not even being used by this teacher. I am not listing a teacher name because this is not the only school or teacher doing this. |
