I am a proud Princeton High School alum, Mar 12, 2009
I am an alumni from Princeton High School c/o 2006. I feel that PHS can give you a Private School Education for free if you take the courses there that will challenge you and adequately prepare you for college. To the above statement about PHS going downhill, that very well maybe, if you are looking at it from the stand point of sports and things that honestly do not matter once your child is out of High School. I was a cheerleader and I did not worry myself about how terrible Scott Kaufman was or if the sports system was "too political" I focused on the goal of getting my diploma, getting into an excellent college, and taking my place in the real world.

If you go to PHS, work hard, and do better than your best, you will achieve and you will not run into the "down hill slide" that not only Princeton but every high school around the United States are digressing toward.

Princeton High School is not what it used to be, Dec 06, 2007
When I was attending high school at Princeton back in 1990, it was one of the best. Now my daughter attends high school there and it has gone downhill. My son is 4 years old and I plan on moving out of the district once my daughter graduates. Because she has attended Princeton school since preschool and I hate to change schools because she only has 2 years left. The experience has not always been so negative just until we got to the high school. For parents watch out for the athletic department especially the cheerleading squad and Scott Kaufman.

Clarice Edmondson, grandparent of 4 in Princeton, Nov 28, 2006
I would like to praise Princeton for what they are doing for my grandchildren. My grandchildren came from Cincinnati Public Schools and did mediocre at best. However, now they have gotten to the high school and two of them are on the honor roll. One was told that she was slow and could not comprehend. Well, her first semester as a Freshman she is on the "A" Honor roll. One of my grandsons who in now also in the 9th grade has a troubled past, and was suspended more than in school, he just made the Honor roll also. Princeton instills self-confidence in the children and promotes a can-do in all their school work and does not hesitate to offer remedial activities to get the children all the extra help they need so that they can believe in themselves.

I have friends that teach in Cincinnati Public Schools and I constantly ask them why they do not try to help students more. A great comment that my grandson made when he was in the 7th grade was: when he went to Mt. Washington the teachers just gave you the work and told you to do it. At Princeton they explain what to do then give you the work and keep coming back to make sure you understand. He said that they almost get on his nerves asking him if he needs help and does he understand.
