A Parent's Observation, Feb 03, 2009 |
| The administration of Grand Park Career Center High School is using a security device (metal detector) that does not work. Random searches reveal guns, knives and drugs that are being brought in on a daily basis. Is it no wonder the system doesn't work. The school is capable of providing a good service to kids that need to be put back on the right path, but safety is an issue. Right now, this is a production line for gang related failures. Additional measures need to take place to make it safer for the ones that can be saved. |
