Dont give Central Rockets the bad name, May 10, 2006 |
| I'm a B average junior student at Miami Central and for the past three years I've noticed Central falling apart. I believe if the district would do more to fix up our school and stop talking about what their going to do, change would come about. No one can learn in a nasty, disfunctional environment and that's just what Centrals appearance is. My mom, an 1989 graduate, says the same. She also tells me "Central ain't what it use to be." Instead of always writing about us, you should try to help. Give us a reason to want to learn because all the gossip and newsletters putting us down is not working. Until you know what a day as a Rocket is you can't judge us or the know us. The fact is a test doesn't decide who you are, what you are all about or what you will be in life. |
