| I watched a recent C-span book segment in which some of your students participated. It was in relation to the book "Race" by Marc Aronson. I just wanted to say that of the many C-span book segments I have watched over the years this was one of the most hopeful. The subject of race and racism is one of the thorniest issues that we as Americans, and indeed the world, have to deal with. These young students were so impressive. The shear depth and understanding of the presentation and with such clear and critical thought processes give great hope for the future. Our nation will be prosperous, peaceful and just in such hands as these. Thanks, Curtis Cooper |
