Not the best school for special needs students, Jul 25, 2007 |
| My twins attended Kirk ten years ago and the experience was very positive. This past year, my youngest son attended and I was very disappointed in the lack of services, support and information given to parents as it applies to special education students. My son's IEP was not completed until March of this year. There was no way of gauging how much my son was struggling and what supports were needed to help him. I would not recommend Kirk if your children have special educational needs since they do not offer Supplemental Educational Services, which provide intense one on one tutoring in academic areas of major concern. |
