The Blacksburg High History Club has reached the halfway point toward raising the $1,000 needed to paint a historical mural in downtown Blacksburg. Students have received permission from Kirby's Florist owner George Kirby to paint the mural on a side wall of his business. The mural will highlight landmark events in the town's history.
