Croatan High School is the Worst HS!, Sep 24, 2009 |
| This school forces children out by a strict and unfair disciplinary system. The reasons the scores stay so high is because these children have to take the courses 2 to 3 times over before they are actually receiving any credit for the classes. Children become frustrated over losing credits they worked hard for and leave. This is one of the only counties I've seen where the children (with parent's consent) can withdraw and go to another school of their choosing in the county! Sure, it's a great system for the children which are university bound. Universities love Croatan. But how many children are losing out here? What is Croatan's drop out rate compared to other school? |

BEST HS, Oct 26, 2007 |
| Love this school. Very academic. Always ranked in the top ten of the state. My son was enrolled in NJ private schools until we moved here 4 years ago, and this school system is far superior to private NJ schools. |
