| Of course an A- is not a fail. An 89.4% and in some cases an 89.9% is a fail, but an A- is just barely making it. Most teachers are extremely good at what they do, and are there because they WANT to be there. And Homecoming is the most competitive event in the year. |

| At Lynbrook High School, an A- IS A FAIL. There is a large amount of academic competition here; it prepares us for Princeton. |
