As I was researching the internet regarding Dr. Francisco Bravo I came across this rather interesting commentary from students. May I say that in the years that I participated in creating and developing programs for Students @ Bravo Medical High School, I found that the majority of the students were indeed quite interested in enhancing their skills, their knowledge base and certainly their GPA for entrance into a viable and challenging University or Community College. If you or anyone of your classmates are bored, it is indeed of your own making. Speak to a counselor or yet the Principal of your school for assistance in how you can make this high school experience more interesting. Better yet be more introspective and reflect upon your own need to learn and glean what is important for your high school education. You have the opportunity to be the best that you can be and certainly do not need permission to shine and be an example for a younger sibling or fellow classmate. Best ever and remember you are a "Diamond in the rough and you must chip away any negative attitude to allow yourself to become that Brilliant Student" Good Luck and happy studying. OGV

In all honesty, like every other high school, Bravo is perhaps what you make out of it. Even though our campus is a five-story building, and we are adjacent to a park, I cannot stress how great this school is. A school with a prestige that no other H.S. in LA has, it is perhaps your best investment. Politically, we lack knowledge but still a very open-mind, free to express who you are, and indeed receive a knowledge like no other. Though we have those few students that always whine and complain about Bravo, that is because more than likely they are forced to be there... Honestly, if you want to come to Bravo, you'll learn to enjoy it, love it, and most importantly, to learn from it.

No, I disagree. Bravo is a fun school. It is only boring if you are anti-social and a boring person.

This year is my first year attending Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet. It is probably the worst school I have seen in the history of LAUSD. It is too crowded and above all boring. I can't wait to leave.
