Former Coalinga Middle School Parent and Student, May 22, 2008 |
| The elementary schools (Cheney, Bishop, Dawson, and Sunset) are good schools with very dedicated and inspirational staff. It is a well-rounded enviroment for children to become educated and healthy growth. It is at the Coalinga Middle School where the academics are lacking because of the constant changes within the administration staff. From the ever changing of principals and the uncaring teachers, the students have lost faith and the desire to respect the campus as well as their peers and the so called leaders of the school. I had placed my children in there care only to have them suffer academically and emotionally. If you are not a parent active on a board for CHUSD, your student will most definitely not be heard. State standing has put this school on notice because test scores speak for themselves and the only ones to blame are the staff and not the students. |

Coalinga Middle School, May 12, 2008 |
| I am a student and I have been in Coalinga Middle School for three years and I think that it is the best school. Most of all they have nice staff working there. All the teachers there are very polite and take there time to teach us student. Also the people that work in the office are always helpful. Mr. Allen the principal is a very nice man. I really respect him. |
