As a transfer student in the academically challenging IB program at Plano East, I'd like to say this school as well as PISD as a whole is one of the best public schools and school districts in the country--I would even venture to say state colleges at least and sometimes even national schools recognize the value of students who went to Plano when conducting admissions work. This district requires more of its students than any other--our C and B average students have transferred later in their school careers and joined the top 5% rankings at their new schools. If you work hard here, you can make the most of this wonderful education, supplemented by programs like Band, ROTC, and theater. Come to Plano! |
