More concerned about dress code than academics, May 19, 2008 |
| My children have been in the Aubrey High School ISD for 6 years from elementary to high school. I will remove them from this school district this year because I can no longer watch my children's education come second to dress code. My child has spent more time in detention or "ECO" (a made up word by AISD for detention) than at home studying, for the henious crimes of not wearing a belt, tucking in his shirt, shaving, or wearing the wrong type shorts (they had the wrong pockets). AISD priorities are all turned upside down. Instated of education first...it's athletics, dress code, the education. I would not recommend this school district and feel their behavior towards student borders on pitiful. |
