This school is in dire need of money and repairs., Dec 20, 2005

I graduated from this school in 2005. I want those 4 years back. This school only has a bare minimum of clubs, elective courses, and activities. There are only 2 foreign language options, which is pathetic considering that I have seen other schools with 4 or 5 options. There are only 2 student made clubs for those with certain interests and many new ones die from a lack of funding. There are only two dances: Homecoming and Prom.
The facility itself is in dire need of repairs. The roof leaks when it rains forcing the staff to place trash cans in the middle of the narrow hallways. Many of the bathrooms have stalls with no doors and sometimes no working toilets. The money that should be used for repairs often goes to the sports teams instead.
Most of the staff is bitter and many don't trust the students. The principal refuses to listen to arguments from even the most civilized students. Suspensions are given out for minor offenses and students do not get to defend themselves. |
