Rankings I believe are not accurate for Alpine Elementary School, Aug 19, 2009
I would not refer to the rankings above. While taking state wide exams, certain teachers/administration help the children through these exams, as well as, the special needs children, so the children will score high and the school will look better. I've known parents who have left the school after finding out from there children innocently that they have been walked through certain state exams. A very unprofessional school with teachers (not all) who are very rude, have the children self teach themselves lots of the time because of their lack of patience. There is even a teacher who is filled with tattoos that are exposed by her wearing short shirts, and administration could care less. It seems as though its a nice school like so many parents think when moving to Alpine, but the problem is once your in there, lots end up leaving and going off to private schools not by choice, but because they have to. Then sometimes end up moving to the neighboring towns, who offer a great professional school system.
