| I am a mother with not one but two children--a male and a femal--attending M.I. Logan Elementary School here in Fort Worth, Texas on Dilliard Street. When Mr. Mumphrey was the principal the school at least in my opinion had more flare to it. My children enjoyed school more now I know that by law maybe my child might have was supposed to be held back in the 3rd grade for his less than 68 points away from the high score on the yearly school exam but he was placed in the 4th grade and is still in the 4th grade when at the same time time his brother was moved on to the 6th grade and was over 100's of points away from the highest score not to bring any questions upon the staff at Maude Irene Logan Elemantary faculty but, to bring all questions upon the faculty mainly office personnel mostly the principal someone needs to check into the non-reporting of excused absences if the parents send the excuses and the school does not input the data the school is not at fault the parents are called into to court as I have experienced several times within the past years as I now make copies of said excuses but it is still time and gas money and an inconvenience to still attend the court hearings to submit yet again something that you have already submitted then the school board questions you why it was not submitted then as well, double checks the information that one has already submitted previously and although the facts checks out to be exactly correct that parent has submitted several times before although the school board can mail one court request no one ever apologizes for the inconvenience that the school's mistake has caused not even an apology from the school principle themselves. Sincerly, unfairly accused and unjustly inconvenienced |
