COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina Department of Commerce, Charleston County and the Charleston Regional Development Alliance today announced that Cummins Turbo Technologies will expand its facility in Charleston County. The $11 million investment is expected to bring 100 new jobs to the area.

Expert in DUI law dies (The Post and Courier)

Reese Joye, a nationally known Lowcountry attorney, leading expert in DUI law and pioneering personal-injury litigator, died Sunday. He was 70. Joye was attending a conference in Massachusetts when he was found dead in his hotel room Sunday morning. A cause of death has not been determined, but no foul play is suspected.

News 2 has learned Reese Joye, a well known criminal defense attorney and owner of the Joye Lawfirm has died. Joye was attending a law seminar at Harvard Law School in Boston when he was found dead in his hotel room this morning from what appeared to be natural causes.
