The new principal of Waccamaw High School is expected to be named on June 17. It is a critical position for one of the top schools in the Georgetown County School District. Each of the three finalists - David Hammel, W. Diane Mims-Grondin and William "Bill" Dwyer - presented their philosophy on curriculum, discipline, leadership style and vision to about 40 parents and school staff Monday.
