    ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY --- If you're in the market for an old-fixer upper, Blair County Commissioners might be able to help you out. The county will close its juvenile detention center on Thursday. On Tuesday Blair County Commissioners decided to sell the building on Grant Avenue.

    ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY --- Police across Pennsylvania are teaming up with PennDOT to crack down on people who don't buckle up. On August 4, Operation Nightlife kicks off. It's a two week safety campaign, and police will be patrolling to see if people are wearing their seat belts at night time.

    State police raided the home of an Altoona police officer Thursday. Troopers from the Hollidaysburg barracks executed a search warrant that was sealed by a Blair County judge.
