MOUNT VERNON: This small city in central Ohio is dotted with churches of just about every denomination. ''You can't drive two blocks here without running into a church,'' said Sam Barone, the executive director of the nonprofit Community Foundation of Mount Vernon and Knox County. HOWARD, Ohio – A Mount Vernon man was killed last night after his motorcycle struck a minivan head-on in Knox County. Telo J. Grove, 29, died at the scene of the 7:43 p.m. collision on Rt. 36 east of Howard, according to the Mount Gilead post of the State Highway Patrol.
