    NEW 11 a.m. BLOOMINGTON -- McLean County’s unemployment rate rose slightly in July to maintain its record-high level. The county’s jobless rate increased from a record 5.5 percent in June to 5.6 percent last month, according to the Illinois Department of Employment Security.

    Champaign An unknown suspect burglarized the YMCA on the 1000 block of Wright Street on Saturday afternoon. According to a police report, a safe was burglarized. No arrests had been made at the time of the report. A 27-year-old man reported theft at the 200 block of White Street on Thursday afternoon.
