The primary race for Harrison County Sheriff took on a general election feel as the only two candidates from either party fought it out on the Democratic ticket June 3. In the end, though, Chief Deputy Pat Sears won by more than a two-to-one margin over Lt. Randy Jensen.

Four Democrats will be on the ballot June 3 in Harrison County - two are running for sheriff and two for supervisor. For Supervisor, Norma Coret or Gaylord Pitt will move on to take on sitting Harrison County Supervisor, Republican Rollie Roberts, in the general election.
