    The Coweta County Board of Education has named Lesley Goodwin as the new principal of Poplar Road Elementary School for the upcoming year. Goodwin, currently the assistant principal of Thomas Crossroads Elementary School, will succeed Rebecca Gibson, who is retiring at the end of the school year.

    The Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity ReStore started in Senoia with a yard sale under a tent and in a garage for one Saturday a month. After realizing the needs of the people and with the strong support from the community, the ReStore was able to re-locate to its current location on Ga. Highway 16 East in May of 2005.
