New Mexico School Rankings
New Mexico Public K-12 School Rankings
are based on the
Report Cards
provided by
New Mexico Public Education Department.
There are two sets of rankings:

Standard Rankings:
- Elementary Schools:
Percentage of 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students scoring at the Advanced Level in Math and Reading.
- Middle Schools:
Percentage of 7th and 8th Grade students scoring at the Advanced Level in Math and Reading.
- High Schools:
Percentage of 9th and 11th Grade students scoring at the Advanced Level in Math and Reading.
You have the option of (i) Ranking all schools in the State
of New Mexico (choose "All Districts" in the toolbar to the left),
(ii) Comparing individual districts (choose "District Vs. District"), and
(iii) Comparing all schools in a given district (choose, for example,
"Albuquerque" District).
To view FREE public school rankings from a prior year, simply
click on the "Rank" button on the toolbar to the left. The
most recent rankings are available for subscribers only.

Customized Rankings (Subscribers Only)
are based on the following:
- Elementary Schools:
Can choose any or all of the following:
3rd grade Math, Reading, and Science;
4th grade Math, Reading, and Science;
5th grade Math, Reading, and Science;
Percentage of students scoring at the Advanced Level;
Percentage of students scoring at the Proficient Level and Above.
- Middle Schools:
Can choose any or all of the following:
7th grade Math, Reading, and Science;
8th grade Math, Reading, and Science;
Percentage of students scoring at the Advanced Level;
Percentage of students scoring at the Proficient Level and Above.
- High Schools:
Can choose any or all of the following:
9th grade Math, Reading, and Science;
11th grade Math, Reading, and Science;
Percentage of students scoring at the Advanced Level;
Percentage of students scoring at the Proficient Level and Above.
With the Customized Ranking, you can choose any or all of the districts.

- Results presented on this site are for All Students; we do
not break down the results for different racial/gender/economic groups.
- Schools with fewer than 10 students are not included.
