Kentucky School Rankings
Kentucky Public K-12 School Rankings
are based on the
Kentucky Core Content Test (KCCT)
provided by the
Kentucky Department of Education.
There are two sets of rankings:

Standard Rankings:
- Elementary Schools:
Grades 4/5 Total Academic Index
(Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arts & Humanities,
Practical Living/Vocational Studies, and Writing).
- Middle Schools:
Grades 7/8 Total Academic Index
(Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arts & Humanities,
Practical Living/Vocational Studies, and Writing).
- High Schools:
Grades 10-12 Total Academic Index
(Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arts & Humanities,
Practical Living/Vocational Studies, and Writing).
You have the option of (i) Ranking all schools in the State
of Kentucky (choose "All Districts" in the toolbar to the left),
(ii) Comparing individual districts (choose "District Vs. District"), and
(iii) Comparing all schools in a given district (choose, for example,
"Jefferson County").
To view FREE public school rankings from a prior year, simply
click on the "Rank" button on the toolbar to the left. The
most recent rankings are available for subscribers only.

Can choose any or all of the following:

Mathematics Academic Index;
Science Academic Index;
Social Studies Academic Index;
Arts & Humanities Academic Index;
Practical Living/Vocational Studies Academic Index;
Writing Academic Index;
or Total Academic Index.
- Middle Schools:
Can choose any or all of the following:
Reading Academic Index;
Mathematics Academic Index;
Science Academic Index;
Social Studies Academic Index;
Arts & Humanities Academic Index;
Practical Living/Vocational Studies Academic Index;
Writing Academic Index;
or Total Academic Index.
- High Schools:
Can choose any or all of the following:
