Idaho Public K-12 School Rankings are based on data from the Idaho Standards Achievement Tests (ISAT) provided by the Idaho State Board of Education. There are two sets of rankings:

Standard Rankings:
- Elementary Schools: Average Scaled Score in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage for Grades 3, 4 and 5.
- Middle Schools: Average Scaled Score in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage for Grades 7 and 8.
- High Schools: Average Scaled Score in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage for Grade 10.
You have the option of (i) Ranking all schools in the State of Idaho (choose "All Districts" in the toolbar to the left), (ii) Comparing individual districts (choose "District Vs. District"), and (iii) Comparing all schools in a given district (choose, for example, "Boise Independent" District). To view FREE public school rankings from a prior year, simply click on the "Rank" button on the toolbar to the left. The most recent rankings are available for subscribers only. Customized Rankings (Subscribers Only)
are based on the following:
- Elementary Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: Average Scaled Score in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage in Grades 3, 4, and 5; Average Scaled Score in Science in Grade 5.
- Middle Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: Average Scaled Score in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage in Grades 7 and 8; Average Scaled Score in Science in Grade 7.
- High Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: Average Scaled Score in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage in Grades 9 and 10; Average Scaled Score in Science in Grade 10.

Notes:
- Results presented on this site are for All Students; we do not break down the results for different racial/gender/economic groups.
- Results are not reported for schools with less than 5 students. Therefore, small schools are not included here.
- 2007 data are based on tests taken in Spring 2007 (2006-2007 academic year).
- 2008 data are based on tests taken in Fall 2007 (2007-2008 academic year).
