Florida Public K-12 School Rankings are based on data from the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) provided by Florida Department of Education. There are two sets of rankings:

• Standard Rankings:
  
  • Elementary Schools: Grades 3, 4 and 5 Reading and Mathematics Mean Scale Scores.
  • Middle Schools: Grades 7 and 8 Reading and Mathematics Mean Scale Scores.
  • High Schools: Grades 9 and 10 Reading and Mathematics Mean Scale Scores.

  You have the option of (i) Ranking all schools in the State of Florida (choose "All Districts" in the toolbar to the left), (ii) Comparing individual counties (choose "District Vs. District"), and (iii) Comparing all schools in a given district (choose, for example, "Miami-Dade" District). To view FREE public school rankings from a prior year, simply click on the "Rank" button on the toolbar to the left. The most recent rankings are available for subscribers only. Subscription fee is $8.33/month (1-year term). Sign up here.



• Customized Rankings (Subscribers Only) are based on the following:
  
  • Elementary Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: Grades 3, 4, and 5 Reading and Mathematics Mean Scale Scores; Grade 4 Writing Mean Scale Scores; Grade 5 Science Mean Scale Scores.
  • Middle Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: Grades 7 and 8 Reading and Mathematics Scores; Grade 8 Writing and Science Scores.
  • High Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: Grades 9 and 10 Reading and Mathematics Scores; Grade 10 Writing and Science Scores.

  With the Customized Ranking, you can choose any or all of the counties. Subscription fee is $8.33/month (1-year term). Sign up here.

• Results presented on this site are for All Students; we do not break down the results for different racial/gender/economic groups.
• Results are not reported for schools with less than 10 students enrolled. Therefore, small schools are not included here.
