Delaware Public K-12 School Rankings are based on data from the Delaware Student Testing Program Online Reports provided by Delaware Department of Education. There are two sets of rankings:

Standard Rankings:
- Elementary Schools: Percentage of 3rd Grade students at the Distinguished Level in Reading, Writing and Math; Percentage of 5th Grade students at the Distinguished Level in Reading, Writing and Math.
- Middle Schools: Percentage of 8th Grade students at the Distinguished Level in Reading, Writing and Math.
- High Schools: Percentage of 10th Grade students at the Distinguished Level in Reading, Writing and Math.
You have the option of (i) Ranking all schools in the State of Delaware (choose "All Districts" in the toolbar to the left), (ii) Comparing individual districts (choose "District Vs. District"), and (iii) Comparing all schools in a given district (choose, for example, "Red Clay Consolidated" District). Customized Rankings (Subscribers Only)
are based on the following:
- Elementary Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: 3rd grade Reading, Writing and Math; 5th grade Reading, Writing and Math; Percentage of students at distinguished level; Percentage of students exceeding standards or better; Percentage of students meeting standards or better.
- Middle Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: 8th grade Reading, Writing and Math; Percentage of students at distinguished level; Percentage of students exceeding standards or better; Percentage of students meeting standards or better.
- High Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: 10th grade Reading and Math; Percentage of students at distinguished level; Percentage of students exceeding standards or better; Percentage of students meeting standards or better.

Notes:
- District scores are calculated from the average scores of schools in the district. This may not represent the true results for the districts since student population varies from school to school.
- Results presented on this site are for All Students; we do not break down the results for different racial/gender/economic groups.
- In any school where the percentage of students at a grade level is greater than 95% or less than 5%, Delaware Department of Education does not display the actual values. In these cases, the results will be shown as 95% or 5% for the school.
