Colorado Public K-12 School Rankings are based on the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP) provided by Colorado Department of Education. There are two sets of rankings:

• Standard Rankings:
  
  • Elementary Schools: The percentages of fifth graders who are at the Advanced Level on the Reading, Writing, and Mathematics tests.
  • Middle Schools: The percentages of seventh and eighth graders who are at the Advanced Level on the Reading, Writing, and Mathematics tests.
  • High Schools: The percentages of ninth and tenth graders who are at the Advanced Level on the Reading, Writing, and Mathematics tests.

  You have the option of (i) Ranking all schools in the State of Colorado (choose "All Counties" in the toolbar to the left), (ii) Comparing individual counties (choose "County Vs. County"), and (iii) Comparing all schools in a given county (choose, for example, "Denver" County). To view FREE public school rankings from a prior year, simply click on the "Rank" button on the toolbar to the left. The most recent rankings are available for subscribers only. Subscription fee is $8.33/month (1-year term). Sign up here.



• Customized Rankings (Subscribers Only) are based on the following:
  
  • Elementary Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: 3rd grade Writing; 4th grade Reading and Writing; 5th grade Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. Can choose between Advanced Level or Proficiency Level (and above).
  • Middle Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: 6th grade Reading, Writing, and Mathematics; 7th grade Reading, Writing, and Mathematics; 8th grade Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Science. Can choose between Advanced Level or Proficiency Level (and above).
  • High Schools: Can choose any or all of the following: 9th grade Reading, Writing, and Mathematics; 10th grade Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. Can choose between Advanced Level or Proficiency Level (and above).

  With the Customized Ranking, you can choose any or all counties. Subscription fee is $8.33/month (1-year term). Sign up here.
