The staff and many of the teachers are not responsive to parents and lack social skills and accountability. When parents go to events and trips with the class and the teachers and staff don't even acknowledge much less introduce themselves or just say hi, but stick together in a way that seems to say it them against us. The principle does not show a desire to follow through nor have accountability and the school does not follow state laws for educating in the fine arts and special ed areas. Many of us parents have gotten together to see how we can help and volunteer but this seems to be a small school with a tight click. There are a couple really great teachers there but stand alone among the general attitude of the school to get by on what is needed to pass students on paper to receive government funds rather than make sure the children have learned.
