Concerned Educator at Neptune Middle School, Oct 12, 2009 |
| I'm shocked that a "concerned parent" would group together all teachers. There are numerous teachers who put in many hours outside the regular class times to improve student scores. It is not just the teacher's responsibility. The parents and students must also take the students' education more seriously. Teachers cannot sit at the dinner table with their students and make sure the homework is completed. Parents need to check the homework planner. Parents need to become more involved. Call or e-mail the teacher to check on your child. Attend sporting events. Join the SPTO. Come to the Back-to-school nights. We have to work together. It cannot be just the teacher's responsibility. I work extremely hard to plan my lessons and I don't believe I am alone. I'm sorry you feel the way you do. |

In need of real teachers who want to teach., Aug 19, 2009 |
| I would never send my child back to Neptune Middle School. No teacher/parent participation. Teachers do not care about the kids its all about the paycheck. Unorganized teachers who can't get their home life together never the less getting their class in order. Padding grades so kids who are playing sports, can play. |

School is in need of help, Oct 07, 2005 |

This school needs help academically. The students deserve better teachers that are willing teach them throughout their years in this school. These kids deserve the best, they are our future presidents, doctors, lawyers and so on. We need standards raised for these teachers that are teaching these kids in less fortunate districts. |
