| To provide the highest quality of education possible through academics and the arts is the mission statement at the Dekalb School of the Arts also known as DSA. DSA is a school of tender, love, and care. That is because our school is so small that everyone knows everyone. The environment being the people that is, is very nurturing. At our school there is some of everything but sports. No sports no problem, if you like sports you are encouraged to participate in them out side of school. For me I love marching band so I must par take in that outside of school. The best thing about DSA is not only the quality of education, but it is the implementation of time management. Pp equals pp, poor planing equals poor production, and as far as I'm concerned this DSA saying not only applies to the stage, but it applies to life. DSA is not for every student but I encourage you to audition in the spring if you believe in your heart that it is for you. |
