| Troy high school is one of the nations best. Recently ranked 21st in the nation by Newsweek. As a student, i neither feel the extreme pressure of some private and prep schools, but get all of the perks. Because of the Troy Tech program, Troy gears its classes towards the mathematics and sciences. Good examples are Troy's Science Olympiad team, which has won 4 of the 5 past years. Also Troy's AP Computer Science class is ranked 1st in the nation, with an astonishing 100% passing rate on the mandatory computer science tests. Although academics will always be first, there are many extracurricular activities at Troy as well. I myself participate in Troy's basketball program, where I am coached by a two time state champion coach Kiernan. Our newspaper the "Oracle" is among the best, recently being printed in color to honor the girls basketball team winning the state title. Troy is the best place for your child to experience their young life. Troy will truly prepare them for college and life. |
