Concern parents at Altar Valley Middle School, Mar 14, 2009

| In response to a parents comments. It seems that you went though what we are going though now. Being the new kids on the block seems to hinder us. The abusive behavior seems to be tolerant for a certain group of kids. Are we in the dark about this or does anyone else notice this or any other similar concerns? |

Alter Valley Middle School has low standards., Nov 04, 2006

| My child has regressed in all subject areas since attending this school. They are not teaching at grade level compared to other schools in Tucson. What a contrast having one child in this school vs. the other in Flowing Wells. One is moving foward academically, socially, and in maturity, and the other is falling behind. There is a lack of discipline, and accountability at this school. Just go watch one of their school performances, it speaks volumes. The kids are very immature perhaps out of boredom. Think twice about sending your junior high student here. I like living in this area, but if I had known, I think I would have delayed my move until both my kids were beyond this age. |
